Responsive, momentum-based movement mechanics are the key focus of Fist of the Forgotten. The game is designed to run buttery smooth with framerates exceeding 100fps. Also, I’m putting the character in a compelling environment with plausible goals to work through, not just “get to the flag at the end, because video games”. The fist, an artifact of forgotten technology, will allow you to not only fight, but also open up new movement abilities to add more interesting elements of platforming as the game progresses.
